Javascript form submit download file

When I clicked on the link the whole jquery code appeared as code in my browser. I was expecting it to download as a file. Not knowing what to do next I clicked File/Save in my browser’s menu bar and in the dialog box it was pre-named jquery-1.11.1.js so I just saved it using the pre-designated name.
