Steam mod wont download

In steam, do the following: in the top drop down menus go to "View" then click "Settings". The settings window will open, there click the tab "Downloads". At the bottom you should have a checkbox named "Allow downloads during gameplay" which needs to be checked for ark (and other games) to be able to download mods e.t.c. while the game is running.

First, unsubscribe to all mods you have subscribed to. Then, verify the integrity of your game cache. Once it has verified, start the game, click Mods, click Get Mods and subscribe to a random mod. It should download. However, if it doesn't, then once again, unsubscribe from any mods you have just subscribed to. Mods from workshop won't download I subscribe a few mods from workshop but they do not want to download. I try reset steam, computer but its did not help.
